Apartment Information
Apartment Almerimar is a lovely 2 bedroom apartment situated on the first floor of block 4 in a Spanish tourist resort of Almerimar. Almerimar is very Spanish and there are few English speakers meaning you should be able to speak a little bit of Spanish even if that is just 'un cerveza por favor'. The apartment is on the outside of block 4 and has a sea view looking towards the rear of the apartments and a lake view from the front of Lake Victoria. The apartment has internet access, a 42" TV, aircon, oven, electric hob, a full size fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and also a washing machine. The main bedroom has a King Size bed with a large walk in wardrobe space and the second room is equipped with bunk beds.
Where is Almerimar?
Almerimar is a luxurious beach resort located 40km west of Almeria city and 160km east of Malaga
in the province of Almeria, Andalucia, Spain. It is situated in the municipality of El Ejido, which is known for its important fruit and vegetable production. Almerimar was built in the late 1960s with the idea of creating a major tourist centre, and the Almerimar Golf Course was opened to the public in 1976
What is there to do in Almerimar?
The answer to this question largely depends on if you are wanting to entertain the kids or if you're travelling kid free! (chance would be a fine thing!)
For both kids and adults, there is a swimming pool set amongst some beautiful gardens and palm trees. Access to the pool is via an RF fob that will be supplied at the time of booking. As well as an amazing swimming pool, the beach is a stones throw away with various attractions nearby.
What sort of weather can you expect?
Almerimar has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters, making it ideal for sun-seekers between June and August . Almerimar boasts over 300 days of sunshine

is an ideal place to escape the cold UK winters. The hottest
month in Almerimar is August with an average of 11 hours of sun per day.

Places to Visit
Almerimar is located on the A-7 motorway which spans the Costa del Sol and Costa de Almeria regions. There are lots of places to visit if you fancy a change of scenery and most are easily reachable from the A-7 which is a free running and quiet motorway. We would highly recommend a visit to Granada and to see the Allhambra
Flight Information
The nearest airport to Almerimar is Almeria Airport and is a 30 minute drive away. You can fly direct to Almeria airport from all major UK airports in the summer months. Almeria airport is small and a relatively quiet in comparison to Malaga and is also a lot closer however flights into Malaga are considerably cheaper and as you would expect much more frequent.
